Chief Visionary Officer

HOLLY

Holly is the Executive Director for The Reformer Studio, qualified in L3 & L4 mat pilates & biomechanics, Pre & Postnatal, yoga instructor trained in Vinyasa & Ashtanga and a sound practitioner through Sound Baths. Throughout lockdown Holly used her time to write ‘The School of Reform’ teacher training manual which has since been endorsed by Active IQ. Holly has recently reduced her teaching hours to focus on business development and growth into the franchise market. You will still find her buzzing around behind the scenes and looking after her longstanding private clients and athletes.

Jess, Studio Manager at Reformer Studio

JESS

Jess is a Reformer Pilates instructor who holds a Level 3 personal training qualification and a BSc in Sport and Exercise Science. Jess grew up actively participating in dancing, swimming and Netball and has over 10 years of professional experience in the health and fitness industry with knowledge in mobility and strength training. Having joined the studio as our assistant manager in 2022 when we were set to open our second studio, Jess now manages the studios across the East Midlands.

Faye, Head Instructor at Reformer Studio

FAYE

Starting off as a member of the Reformer Studio, Faye was instantly drawn to the practice for its focus and meditative qualities. Now a qualified instructor through the School of Reform, her passion is fuelled by witnessing members flourish. Faye is evolving her knowledge of anatomy through Osteopathic studies at University, which allows her to tailor exercises for individual needs – a technique she’s eager to share with the School of Reform.

LJ, Head Instructor at Reformer Studio

LJ

LJ has worked in the fitness industry for ten years, qualifying as a Level 3 Personal Trainer with an initial focus on bodybuilding. After a series of serious injuries, LJ sought balance and trained in power and yin yoga. However, something was still missing in her recovery journey – Reformer Pilates! After discovering its transformative effect, LJ became a Reformer Pilates instructor to share its benefits with others.

Debs, Instructor at Reformer Studio

DEBS

A lifelong swimmer, Debs has thrived in the water from teenage prodigy to competing in national open water events. Joining our studio in 2019, her post-pandemic passion for fitness led her to become an instructor. Reformer Pilates offers Debs both an escape from her busy life as a lawyer and mum, and a path to improved core strength and mental wellbeing, helping her manage back pain and menopause. Now, she’s excited to share these benefits with others through teaching.

Naomi, Instructor at Reformer Studio

Studio Lead, Lace Market & West Bridgford

Naomi qualified with Body Control Pilates in November 2021, gaining her level 3 Matwork qualification. She taught group, 1-1, corporate and online Pilates in various spaces across North West London before moving to Nottingham and qualifying in Reformer Pilates. She has a background in dance and a BA Hons in Drama, so her classes are both challenging and engaging.

Abrielle, Instructor at Reformer Studio

Originally joining The Reformer Studio as a member in 2023, Abrielle became part of the team through the School of Reform, having graduated with a BSc in Sport and Exercise Science, as well as being a qualified Sports Massage Therapist, spending a number of years doing tap dance and working towards an MSc in Dietetics. She has a strong interest in health, beauty and wellness and loves what movement can do for you both mentally and physically. She describes her teaching style as athletic and enjoys seeing our members progress and grow in confidence week by week.

Suki, Instructor at Reformer Studio

After spending years working in social media and marketing, along with her handmade small business Suki Sabur Designs, Suki found a love for yoga and movement as it encouraged her to focus more on her health and well-being. Along with yoga, Reformer Pilates became non-negotiable for her well-being and movement when she discovered the studio in 2023. After noticing a huge shift physically and mentally, Suki qualified with the School of Reform in 2024. Suki loves to mindfully focus on breathing, lengthening and strengthening, and core work, encouraging others to incorporate this into their daily practice, as she believes it's something everyone can do, nourishing the mind, body, and soul.

Anjali, Instructor at Reformer Studio

ANJALI

Anjali is a Vinyasa yoga, Classical Pilates Mat work and Reformer Pilates Instructor. Originally from Zimbabwe, she discovered her joy for movement early on as young gymnast. In 2019, during her gap year in Cape Town, she trained in Vinyasa yoga which deepened her love for teaching. In 2021, while qualifying in classical Pilates mat, she fell in love with classical Reformer Pilates, and was later introduced to dynamic Reformer at The Reformer Studio. Her interest in biomechanics lead her to study applied neuroscience with Z-health Education® to understand how our brain is involved in strength, balance & skill. Anjali loves connecting with others by sharing the transformational benefits of Pilates, her classes always emphasise form, flow, and most importantly fun!

Rosalind, Instructor at Reformer Studio

ROSALIND

Through her day job as fully qualified dermatologist and researcher, Roz has a specialist interest in women’s health. She has practised Pilates for several years and has benefited from the strength and flexibility that it has offered. In particular, Pilates was a source of support and exercise pre/post both of her pregnancies. More recently, Roz has been keen to incorporate advice on core and pelvic floor into her clinical practice with women of all ages. Becoming an instructor is the perfect way to combine both of her passions - exercise and helping patients. Her classes focus on a strong foundation with layering to suit all abilities.

IRINI

Irini has been a member of The Reformer Studio team since January 2023, and involved with the School of Reform since January 2024. Irini has more than 7 years of teaching experience in Belgium and the UK, delivering safe but progressively challenging classes designed to take your strength, balance and stability to the next level. She holds a Balanced Body® Comprehensive Pilates Instructor certification, which includes mat, Reformer, Trapeze Table, Chair and Barrels, and is a qualified Pre and Postnatal Pilates instructor.

Hanah, Lead Instructor at Reformer Studio

HANNAH

Hannah joined the team at the start of 2024 having trained through the School of Reform. Hannah’s background is in dance, performing arts and the fitness industry. She is a qualified Personal Trainer and holds a level 4 qualification in Pre and Postnatal. Since having her own children, Hannah loves to support and guide other mums and mums to be on their reformer journey. You will find Hannah regularly at the Derby studio adding some spice to each of her classes, you’ll soon learn to love the burn!

Dayana, Instructor at Reformer Studio

Dayana's Reformer Pilates practice quickly became a non-negotiable for well-being and movement when she discovered the studio in 2022. It provided her with a combination of body awareness, posture alignment, core, and breath work. Pilates inspired Dayana in how it combines elongation, control, and stability with muscle strength and toning. Therefore, the energy you would expect in her classes is a mindful balance between lengthening and strengthening exercises.

Lexi found her love for Reformer Pilates whilst living in Australia. With Reformer Pilates involving controlled moments with a focus on breath, she found a mindful and physically challenging workout. What’s not to love! Now a student at the University of Nottingham and a Reformer Pilates Instructor qualifed through the School of Reform, Lexi hopes to provide others with the love she has found for Reformer Pilates. Her classes are well balanced with moment focus on your breath and always have little bit of spice in the middle. Her favourite exercise has to be flying lunges. She cannot wait to welcome you to one of her classes soon!

Ben, School of Reform

BEN

Ben is a Mat and Reformer Pilates instructor based in London. Having trained with Frame Academy/Active IQ he went on to work for Frame for 5 years. In 2021 Ben completed his Active IQ Level 3 in Education and Training. He has launched Mat classes for corporations such as Google and Reformer classes for private members' clubs including Mortimer House. He currently is a founding Instructor of Reformer at Psycle and has taught at Power Pilates UK under Korin Nolan since 2020. Online his classes are available via Dynamic Pilates TV which he continues to contribute to.

Gemma, Instructor at Reformer Studio

Starting as a member of The Reformer Studio, Gemma fell in love with Reformer Pilates and loved how she could completely switch off and focus, no other exercise classes had ever had that effect on her or challenged her in the same way. After raising two boys to teenagers she decided it was time to do something with her passion and qualified as a teacher through The School of Reform, she hopes to share the physical and mental benefits with others.

Sally, Instructor at Reformer Studio

SALLY

Sally’s original background was in ballet and musical theatre. She danced in the big classical ballets and contemporary smaller companies, touring Europe, the USA and Israel. After a knee injury Sally retired from the world of theatre and retrained as a fitness instructor, going on to specialise in Pilates. She is trained in Reformer from beginner to advanced level and loves to see class members’ strength and flexibility increase as they progress through their Pilates experience.
David, Head Instructor at Reformer Studio

David boasts an extensive background in sport, having competed in tennis, cricket, and football from a young age. His passion for sport continued as he pursued a degree in Strength, Conditioning & Rehabilitation, followed by a PhD in neuromuscular physiology. Throughout his studies, he worked as a personal trainer, helping people of all abilities improve their health and recover from injuries.

Ally qualified as a Physiotherapist in 2016 and currently works as a Specialist Pelvic Health Physiotherapist in the NHS. She found her love for Reformer Pilates when the Nottingham studio opened in 2019, loving how it challenged her physically, but also how it encouraged her to be more mindful. Qualified in Mat Pilates through APPI, she has since gone on to train as a Reformer Pilates Instructor under the School of Reform.

Deana has always had a keen interest in sport and exercise, has ran 5 marathons and has a passion for long distance cycling. Deana is a qualified endurance running coach and aquanatal instructor. Her daughter introduced her to the reformer studio and after the first session she was hooked! This led her to train as an instructor and is now completely obsessed. She absolutely loves the glute work so if that's your favourite muscle group too, be sure to get to one of Deana's classes.

From working in a corporate marketing role, Sim decided to take the plunge and follow her passion for fitness by becoming a personal trainer. After spending a few years in the industry, Sim found reformer pilates as she was looking for something to complement her own strength training programme and expand her knowledge. SCOTT

Scott is the director of Excel Therapy, a company that delivers an up-to-date, forward-thinking approach to restore people back to full activity after pain or injury. He has 20 years' experience in treating and rehabilitating pain and injury. Scott has delivered his services to professional and international athletes involved in sports such as athletics, football, boxing and ice hockey to name a few. He also lectures at university level and has mentored many other therapists to help upskill them and guide their careers.

Zina is highly passionate about health and fitness, with exercise being a non-negotiable to her physical and mental wellbeing. She fell in love with the combined improvements in her control, strength and flexibility that Pilates practice has given her. Therefore she decided to complete her teacher training qualification to teach Reformer Pilates. Her higher academic and professional background in medicine and physiology provide her with a solid understanding of the human body and a deeper appreciation of the benefits of Pilates. Expect a challenging dynamic workout in a calm paced environment which will leave you feeling accomplished.

Michelle Instructor at Reformer Studio

Michelle is a qualified Reformer Pilates instructor through The School of Reform. She also holds a BSc in Nutritional Science, is a Level 3 Sports Massage Therapist and has over 10 years’ experience as a Lead Medical Editor - creating evidence-based public health information. Michelle loves how every Reformer class is completely different, but always leaves you feeling challenged and strong. When she’s not reforming, Michelle can be found chasing her cheeky dog around the Peak District.

Jonny, an outdoor instructor passionate about travel and adventure sports, overcame a life-changing spinal cord injury. Through rehabilitation using the Reformer, other practices, and sheer determination, he not only regained mobility but thrived in paracanoeing, achieving national, European and World Championship titles.

Ekow Essuman, professional Boxer and proud outright owner of the British Welterweight boxing title. Has been instructing at the Reformer studio since 2019, aspiring to inspire everyone in his classes to gain a new sense of confidence in themselves.
